All of our trainers hold a minimum of a 4-year college degree in the field of Exercise Science and have a nationally recognized personal training certification. Hi, I’m Logan!
I am currently in my fourth year at the University of Akron working towards my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Physical Therapy. I am a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the American Council of Exercise (ACE) as well as a Certified Group Fitness instructor and Certified Cycling instructor.

I love personal training because it is such a rewarding job. Being able to work with and educate clients to help them achieve their goals as such an amazing experience.

I have experience with training one on one clients, small group training and large class sized training. Health and fitness are both a huge passion of mine and I always strive to help my clients discover that a healthy lifestyle is achievable and maintainable!

As a trainer I like to focus on my clients gaining general health benefits and reaching their goals. I want to desensitize the negative perception of exercising and make you fall in love with it like I did. Having participated in a dozen races, I have tackled everything from 5k’s, 8k’s, 10k’s, and even completed my first half marathon back in 2015.

I’m Alex Schwarz and I am currently a student at The University of Akron. I am majoring in nutrition and dietetics. I plan on becoming a Registered Dietitian here in Northeast Ohio. I became a personal trainer because I want to help people with both their nutrition and exercise. I’ve been training myself for several years now and it’s truly a lifestyle now. My favorite exercise is the bench press because it is a great test of overall upper body strength as well as mental strength.
